Commercial Product Photography for Monin Syrups
Strong product photography goes beyond simply documenting a product—it creates a visual experience that captures attention and communicates quality. For this commercial shoot, I created a series of lifestyle product images featuring Monin syrups supplied by Cooksmill, designed to showcase each flavour in a creative and engaging way.
The project focused on four popular Monin syrups: Raspberry, Hazelnut, Blueberry, and Matcha Green Tea. Rather than photographing the bottles in a traditional studio setup, I wanted each image to represent the flavour inside the bottle through carefully selected ingredients, movement, and vibrant colour.
Each photograph was created using a compositing technique. I captured multiple images of the ingredients being dropped around the bottles before combining the best elements from every frame during post-production. This process allowed me to create dynamic scenes filled with floating raspberries, hazelnuts, and blueberries while maintaining complete control over composition, lighting, and detail.
The result is a collection of bold commercial product photographs that instantly communicate the flavour profile of each syrup while giving the images a sense of energy and movement. Every composition was carefully styled to create a premium look that would be equally effective across e-commerce websites, social media campaigns, printed marketing materials, and digital advertising.
Creative lifestyle photography like this helps transform everyday products into eye-catching visual assets. By combining technical photography skills with advanced editing techniques, it's possible to create imagery that not only showcases a product but also captures the imagination of potential customers.
As a commercial product photographer, I enjoy creating imagery that tells a story while remaining true to the product itself. Whether photographing food and drink, hospitality products, or consumer goods, my goal is always to produce high-quality visuals that strengthen a brand's identity and help products stand out in an increasingly competitive online marketplace.

One image required a slightly different creative approach. For the Matcha Green Tea syrup, I wanted to create the impression of loose tea leaves surrounding the bottle, but capturing the exact effect practically proved difficult. Instead, I photographed dry basil leaves falling around the product to achieve the desired movement and lighting. During post-production, I used AI-assisted editing to transform the basil leaves into realistic green tea leaves, preserving the natural motion from the original photographs while creating a final image that accurately reflected the flavour. This combination of practical photography and modern editing techniques allowed me to produce a polished, believable result while maintaining full creative control over the composition.
